Carey Thompson's interest in the visual arts began at a young age as he enjoyed the creative tools offered him throughout his schooling. However, art was second to his interest in the sciences and was seen as a hobby to have as he pursued a career in medicine. This changed dramatically while attending university after a highly cathartic visionary experience. It became clear that his love was painting, and that through the marriage of his passion for art and science, his true spiritual path was found. From that day on he has focused his energies on delving deeper into the domain of spirit with the mission to help heal the suffering human soul through his art.  The human psyche has been derailed from harmonious existence on this planet for a long time now, and Carey feels this schism can be most effectively realigned through the collective revelation of universal interconnectivity. Here art becomes medicine and with an intention to harmonize crystallized into the creation, the art penetrates deep into the sub-cellular psyche of the viewer to reveal the unified majesty of all existence.  Carey's art path has led him on a magical journey, sharing his paintings and his sculptures in galleries and festivals all over the world. He hopes to inspire those along his journey to discover their own true gifts and fearlessly follow their passion as far as it will take them. As more and more individuals harness their creative gifts and are living their lives as a work of art,  the world moves closer to a collective dreamfield where we are manifesting our destinies as a species in harmony with all that is.
