A Word About Alchemy

Our collective Gathering uses the model of the science of Alchemy to describe the metaphors encountered in this Path of Soul Preservation, Worship and Healing. It is a little known fact that the language of the alchemical sciences and the models created by the Ancients were in fact a thinly veiled secret communication in which these Spiritual community leaders practiced steps and methods for purifying the human condition, bringing enlightenment to the meditation of Life.

It was necessary to describe this Process as a Physical Science because of the persecution of religious and elected officials and other limited minds in that era. Because of this attempt to limit access to spiritually transformative practices, the teachers and devotees of this meditation were forced to create their methods in secret and under threat of death or imprisonment. It was the genius and insight of the early alchemists that used the terms and descriptions of the fledgling physical sciences to hide their true intent, the purification of the Human Spirit in its original scope and condition towards becoming Light-filled and pure in its ways. This process was the transition of ‘lead into gold’ put forth in the ancient teachings. The vessel of the Spirit was the true chalice, and by working the character and mind towards spiritual transmutation, it was believed that the Soul could be literally catalyzed and would manifest into its ‘golden’ more perfect Self. The dogged pursuit of these principles also led to fantastic breakthroughs in the actual pursuits of literacy, chemistry, and sociology that are earmarks of human civilization at its best.

In honor of this Process and Realization, in an exercise of the Highest intention for our collective expression, we have given this Gathering its name. The science of alchemy and the pursuit of self-realization and growth are our models, and we are brought together to create images, sounds and vibrations that seek to modify the energies of our hearts. It is with no less than this noble pursuit that our Collective continues to engage in the Process of Individual and Group transformation. The art and education of Alchemeyez are specifically designed to this endeavor, a process of the expression of joy that we are eager to share with you!
