HI-C (Chris Chartier) is another of the residents at Honolulu’s finest after hours nightclub, Asylum. He has been shaking dancefloors with his eclectic, minimal influenced beats since 2006. He has played various venues around the city such as Club Lotus, SOHO and the Loft. Weaving his creations from a sampling of deep tech house and urban techno beats, he is consistently been one of the favorite performers in the Hawaii electronic music scene. Currently, he is collaborating with Miko Franconi’s Soundsex project to develop a new live album. HI-C also played for the first time on Sound Alley at Burning Man 2010. Chris has shown constant dedication to music creation, brushing away other goals to single mindedly develop new sounds and techniques.
