Rhythmstar is a well-known veteran of the psychedelic and electronic music world, playing shows and influencing hearts and minds since 2001. He grew up in Los Angeles, building his cadre of sounds from many diverse elements and influences. Beginning in 2002, he produced the Full Moon events on the Big Island, and has played every Bassnectar Hawaii tour since then. He also headlined the Hawaii Electronic Music Festival from 2003-2007.

Rhythmstar plays an organic, sultry mix of psychedelic hip-hop, glitch, liquid jungle, sacred drum and bass, as well as his own creative style which fuses tech and soul music, which he has dubbed ‘future soul.’ Rhythmstar considers his performances a highly developed ritual, practicing and refining entire sets with the intention of offering an inward journey to the listener. Forgoing repetition and filler, he would rather keep it short, sweet, and high quality than sacrifice his creative ideals. Rhythmstar is well known for crafting these individual journeys of the body and mind and never repeating himself. Designing his own templates and effects, he wants to cause a soul reaction in the fans, creating a vibration of chakra alignment on the dancefloor, where the listener can transmute space and time, being healed while moving the body in unison to the fabric of sound. Rhythmstar has two tracks on a new compilation out by Acropolis RPM called Beat Sculptors. This will be his second appearance at Alchemeyez, and a return to his home of inspiration to move the crowd, heal the body and transform the mind with his aural internal voyages.
