Lafa Taylor performing under his DJ/Eclectronic Alias “Freak FunK” plays a mix of original and remixed/reworked tracks combined with on the spot looping of 808 drums and beatbox. FreakFunk also drops vocals on select tracks bringing the energy up to the next level of awesome boomboom. Lafa  has been producing music professionally for about 7 years now and has 3 solo albums and 2 collaborative albums under his belt. As a hiphop artist he has played many of the westcoast festivals and has seen major success in Japan with his group DefTech ( #1 indi album '06 / 26 point tour including Budokahn). He is now breaking into the electronic scene as a DJ/MC/Producer with a sound self classified as BassHop.
